    53 year old mom to 4 amazing grown kids and 2 beautiful grandkids. The 2 youngest are 19 & 22, attending Clemson & USC.

    The 2 oldest are 26 & 32 & both have their own businesses. I am several years into living a healthy lifestyle, having lost over 100 lbs thru good nutrition & plenty of exercise. Pound is a great, all around workout for all ages & fitness levels and I love teaching it! Age is only a number!!!!

I was in El Paso , TX for 7 years in Utah for 15 years, and here almost 14 year’s

    I'm Rachel, some of my friends call me Rae. I have 2 children who have inspired me to be a better version of me.  November 2020 change my life for the better. I got my certification for Pound and became a Pound Pro. Practicing Pound has helped me get through some very difficult times of my life. One of the things I love about Pound is loving your body thru the journey. I began not being able to strike the ground and through Pound , I know I strike all the time.       I discovered Tai Chi in 2016 with my Dad and initially was interested in improving my balance after an injury. I studied under martial arts master, Phil Robinson until he retired in late 2018. I've maintained my personal practice over the years and obtained my certification from Open the Door Tai Chi in Sept 2020. Tai Chi is often called Meditation in Motion because it includes a series of gentle movements in a focused manner with slow & deep breathing techniques. I am excited to share this form with others. Tai Chi is the perfect way to stretch and relax your body and mind. It can help you improve balance and coordination and reduce stress. All ages and fitness levels can benefit from this gentle flowing form.  

       DDPY INSTRUCTOR

      I began my DDPY journey in 2015. I'd heard about DDPY from my daughter, Ashuntyonna "Shunty," Chandler, a huge fan of WWE Hall of Famer, Diamond Dallas Page. Me & my daughter, together, watched the inspirational videos of Arthur Boorman, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Scott Hall, and Christina Russell. Not long after, I was invited to the DDPY Performance Center by Instructor Dylan Fymyer and also by Brenda Page, Dallas' wife.

      At the time I began the program, I suffered from high blood pressure, taking four pills a day, and an injured shoulder as a result of a car accident.  My passion is acting, and as an actress, I was very dissatisfied with how I looked on camera and in photos. I knew she had to make changes in order to gain enough confidence to get back into the auditioning room. 

      In April of 2016, I had a life-changing discussion with Diamond Dallas Page about diet and the foods we eat. I decided to take the program seriously, to own my life, and become healthy for me and my family. I gave herself the goal of losing thirty-five pounds by my birthday. Not only did I make her goal, but she surpassed it and lost forty-two pounds that year. In less than a month after starting the Phase 3 eating plan, another eight pounds was gone.

      I'm originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, my family & I now call Atlanta their home. I have dedicated my life to helping others. I've been a certified L1 DDPY instructor for over three years. To date, I've lost 62 pounds, has trashed her blood pressure medication, and rebuilt her shoulder injury.
