With over 15 years of experience in fitness and wellness, and after losing 120 lbs myself, I’ve learned that lasting change comes from a combination of fitness, nutrition, and community. Here are five powerful steps to kickstart your journey toward a healthier, more empowered you:
1. Set Clear and Realistic Goals
It's easy to get caught up in wanting to change everything at once. But real progress happens when you set specific, achievable goals. Instead of aiming to "lose weight," set a goal like “lose 5 lbs in 4 weeks” or “complete 3 workouts this week.” By setting measurable goals, you create momentum and feel accomplished as you achieve each one.
Pro Tip: Start with your "why." Why do you want to make this change? Is it for your health, self-confidence, or to keep up with your family? Knowing your deeper purpose can keep you motivated when challenges arise.
2. Incorporate Strength and Flexibility Training
Fitness is more than just burning calories. At Be Free Fitness, we focus on a combination of strength, endurance, and flexibility.
